Considering the popularity of Markha Valley trek has with trekkers in Ladakh it is not difficult to understand why Markha valley trek is the most beautiful Trek in the Himalayan region.  You get an outstanding view of Ladakh and Zanskar ranges, the 21,000 ft Kang Yatsey and the 20,086 ft Stok Kangri peaks. The trek includes beautiful Hemis National Park and involves two pass crossings-  Gandala La (15748 ft) and Kongmaru La, (17,060 ft).  Some exciting waist-deep river crossing sections on Markha River to trails leading across interesting Buddhist villages and rocky canyons are some of the features that give this trek a unique feature.

ITENARARY

INCLUSIONS

Day 1

After Breakfast start the walk from chilling to Skyu village via  Zanskar River via Trolley and that walk to Skyu Village (2 to 3 Hrs)

 

Day 2

After start the walk from Skyu to Markha village, the walk will be for 5 to 6 Hrs.

Overnight stay in Camp

 

Day 3

After Breakfast start the walk from Markha to Thachungtse village, the walk f

Day 4

Thachungtse – Yakrupal (5-6 hours).

Day 5

Yakrupal – Zalung Karpo La 5200m – Khar (5-6 hours) .

 

Day 6

Khar – Dat (5-6 hours).

Overnight stay in Camp.

Day 7

Dat – Yar La 4950m – Lungmo Che (5-6 hours).

Overnight stay in camp.

Day 8

Lungmo Che – Zara (5 hours).

Overnight stay in camp.

Day 9

Zara – Ponganagu (6 hours).

Overnight stay in camp.

Day 10

Ponganagu – Nuruchan 4300 m (6 hrs).

Overnight stay in camp.

 

 

Day 11

Nuruchan- Gyamar Barma 5100 m (7-8 hrs).

Overnight stay in camp.

Day 12

Gyamar Barma – Gyamar 5200 m (3-4 hrs) we will eventually reach the pass. The trail leads gradually down to the lush green valley of the Gyamar, where we spend our night.

Overnight stay in camp.

Day 13

Gyamar – Korzok (Tsomoriri Lake) 4500 m (6-7 hrs) .

Rest day in Korzok …

Day 15

Korzok to Kyangdam (4595 M) - 05 Hrs:

Overnight stay in camp.

Day 16

Kyangdam to Skitpodangsa (4563 M) or Nurboo Sumdo. 04-05 Hrs:

Overnight stay in camp.

Day 17

Skitpodangsa to Getpabuzak (4600 M) 05 Hrs:

Overnight stay in camp.

Day 18

Getpabuzak to Tarangyokma (4731 M) 04-05 Hrs:

Overnight stay in camp.

Day 19

Tarangyokma to Karsha Gompa (4900 M) or Parang La base (Bubnen) (5089 M) 03-04 Hrs:

Overnight stay in camp.

Day 20

Parang La base to Takkarzong (4850 M) via Parangla 5650m 7-8 hrs.

Overnight stay in camp.

Day 21

Takkarzong to Thagltak (4500 M) 04-05 Hrs:

Overnight stay in camp.

Day 22

Thagltak to Kibber 03 Hrs 4-5 hrs.

Overnight stay in camp.                                 

Day 23

Drive from Kibber to Manali ..

  • Liability for or insurance against injury, loss of life, accidents or loss of goods.

  • Camera Fees.

  • Personal belongings such as Sleeping Bags, walking sticks etc.
