The trip begins with your arrival at Leh airport

You will be visiting the local sights of the city as well as the attractions of the Sham Valley

The highlights there are the mysterious Magnetic hill and the beautiful confluence of the rivers Zanskar and Indus

The trip also takes you to the famous Nubra valley and the famous Pangong Tso Lake

From Pangong, you will be driving to the Tso Moriri, which is a beautiful Lake and a breeding ground for many migratory birds

You will also be staying in camps at various locations, the best part about which is the unending views of stars and galaxies in the clear nights

ITENARARY

INCLUSIONS

  • Day 1 - Arrival in Leh

  •  

  • Post your arrival at the Airport in Leh, our representative will transfer you to the hotel

  • You will be welcomed with a traditional welcome

  • You are advised to rest for the day to acclimatize

  • You can then visit Shanti Stupa in the evening, which is a popular sunset spot with a panoramic view of the Leh city

  • Also, pay a visit to the Leh palace

  • Dinner and overnight at Leh hotel

  • Day 2 - Sham Valley Excursion

  •  

  • After your breakfast in the morning, make your way towards the beautiful confluence of the rivers Indus and Zanskar

  • Also visit the spiritual hotspot, the Gurudwara Pathar Sahib

  • Post this, you will be visiting the mysterious spot of Magnetic hill where you can witness the vehicle move uphill in the Neutral gear

  • Dinner and overnight in Leh

  • Day 3 - Leh – Nubra Valley

  •  

  • After breakfast today, you will be preparing to drive through the highest motorable civilian pass of the world, Khardung La

  • Crossing the Khardung La top, you will enter into the magnificent Nubra Valley

  • This is a cold desert, where you will be visiting the white sand dunes of Hunder

  • This is where you will be experiencing a double-humped camel ride.

  • After checking in to the camps in Nubra, we will visit the famous Diskit Monastery if time permits

  • Dinner and overnight in Nubra camps

  • Day 4 - Return to Leh

  •  

  • Post a filling breakfast this morning, you will be driving back to Leh, once again, via Khardung La

  • After resting for a while, you will be paying visits to the Jokhang (Buddhist Prayer house), Leh Mosque from the 15th century, and the Central Asian Museum

  • Dinner and Overnight in Leh Hotel

  • Day 5 - Leh to Pangong Tso

  •  

  • Get started with an early morning after breakfast and leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) through Changla Pass 17,350 ft.

  • Spend time on the banks of Pangong Lake. This lake of Pangong is 5/6 km wide and over 144 km long and is shared by two countries; India and China

  • Later in free time, enjoy the color changing lake and the sunset on the banks.

  • Dinner and Overnight stay at camps.

  • Day 6 - Driving from Pangong to Tso Moriri

  •  

  • After breakfast and a couple of hours looking and capturing the lake, you will start driving towards the Tso Moriri Lake

  • On the way, you will be crossing Chumathang (hot springs), Mahe and Puga Sumdo

  • The Lake of Tso Moriri is approximately 28kms long and 8 km wide and is the breeding for many migratory and rare birds

  • Dinner and overnight at camps of Tso Moriri

  • Day 7 - Drive back to Leh

  •  

  • After Breakfast, you will start driving towards Puga Sumdo, and then take a turn towards Polokongka Pass to visit the Tso Kar lake

  • After spending time here, you will get to the Manali-Leh highway to return to Leh

  • Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel in Leh

  • Day 8 - Return

  •  

  • After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Airport for your flight back

  • Accommodation on Dbl / Twin Sharing Rooms as per itinerary.

  • All meals as per itinerary 

  • Transportation by Non-AC Jeeps as per the program.

  • Note: Please ensure that your members are covered by Insurance as per your Government Rules.

  • Airfare

  • Accommodation & Transportation in Delhi

  • Personal clothing and gears required for hiking by the clients

  • Personal expenses such as table drinks, rooms services items, laundry, telephone calls at hotels or tips etc.

  • Any additional expenses caused by or liability for the disturbance in the trip program due to or circumstances, weather conditions, sickness, natural disasters, riots etc.

  • Liability for or insurance against injury, loss of life, accidents or loss of goods.

  • Camera Fees.

  • Any Cargo and Shipment Charges (Import and Custom Clearance)

  • Personal belongings such as Sleeping Bags, walking sticks etc.

  • Please ensure your insurance covers you for the heights you are likely to attain, and for the helicopter rescue and when you have chosen and booked your insurance, please provide your Insurers name, their 24-hour emergency telephone number and your Policy number with them.Remember, your insurance is not worth the paper it's written on if we don't know the details and you need their assistance.
